Organic food has never been more popular, with traditional grocery stores upping their organic game and Amazon getting in on the action with their Whole Foods buyout. If you truly want to know where your food comes from though, you need to grow it yourself. 

For those of us without the time or space necessary to build a backyard farm, there are plenty of kits and devices out there that allow plants to practically grow themselves — and they all fit nicely on a kitchen counter.
