Touted as the first superhero film to be produced in Pakistan, Project Ghazi is one of the most awaited films of 2017. Starring Humayun Saeed, Sheheryar Munawar and Syra Shehroz in lead roles, the film’s first teaser is out and it is a treat to watch.

Running just over 30 seconds, the teaser hints at a cosmic battle between good and bad. While the bad is represented by Adnan Jaffar, Saeed and Munawar essay the two good guys in the film with Saeed also playing mentor to Munawar.
Apart from the men, Syra Shehroz who was last seen in Chalay Thay Saath, will be seen in the role of an scientist who is integral to the film. In addition, Shehroz and Munawar will also share a romantic relationship.
“The look and feel of the film is close to Hollywood,” producer Ali Raza told Instep in an earlier interview. “We have stayed true to the superhero genre and have made a deliberate effort to stay away from Bollywood’s shooting style.”
Directed by Nadir Shah, Project Ghazi is based on a mission (Project Ghazi) and is expected to release later this year.
Given the fact that upcoming venture is veering into the territory of sci-fi, a genre that is rarely explored in Pakistan, it looks very promising.
